Financial analysis of the companies in tobacco industry

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce zpracovává finanční analýzu podniků, jejichž předmět podnikání zahrnuje distribuci či výrobu tabákových produktů. V teoretické části je v první kapitole charakterizována finanční analýza. Ve druhé kapitole jsou popsány informační vstupy finanční analýzy. Třetí kapitola obsahuje jednotlivé ukazatele finanční analýzy, ze kterých je následně čerpáno v praktické části této práce. Praktická část zahrnuje představení jednotlivých podniků, regulace tabákového průmyslu a rozbor jednotlivých ukazatelů finanční analýzy. Poslední kapitola je věnována zhodnocení výsledků a podání návrhů na zlepšení v oblasti finančního hospodaření.

Abstract:

This Master's thesis deals with the financial analysis of companies involved in the distribution or production of tobacco products. The first chapter of the theoretical part characterizes financial analysis. The second chapter describes the information inputs for financial analysis. The third chapter contains the individual indicators of financial analysis, which are then used in the practical part of this thesis. The practical part includes the introduction of individual companies, regulation of the tobacco industry and the analysis of individual indicators of financial analysis. The last chapter is devoted to assessing the results and making suggestions for improvement in the area of financial management.
