Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této práce je zkompilovat dvojjazyčný glosář pojmů používaných v korpusové lingvistice. Text práce představuje nejen tento moderní obor, ale seznamuje i s dalšími oblastmi, kde korpusy našly své uplatnění. Text se zejména věnuje jejich využití ve výzkumu jazyka, v jeho vyučování a v překladatelství. V rámci představování samotných korpusů se text věnuje také jejich tvorbě. Součástí textu je i teorie potřebná pro sestavení glosáře, tedy základy poznatků z terminologie. Poté následuje popis vyhotovení praktické části této práce, anglicko-českého glosáře. Je zde rozebrána strategie sběru pojmů a závěrečné vyhodnocení stavu české terminologie korpusové lingvistiky.

Abstract:

The main aim of this thesis is to compile a bilingual glossary of terms used in corpus linguistics. The theoretical text provides an overview on the field of corpus linguistics and discusses domains where corpora are used, focusing on three key areas where corpora have had significant impact - language research, translation and language teaching. Great deal of attention is given to corpus compilation; the three main stages of this process, design, text collection and mark-up, are described. Part of the text deals with the theoretical principles of terminology management and formulates a basis for glossary compilation, which is followed by the description of the practical part, the glossary itself. The methodology of gathering relevant terms is described. The concluding section of this part assesses the availability of Czech equivalents for corpus linguistics terms that emerged in English.
