Bakalářská práce se zabývá vynálezem, historií a dalším vývojem automobilu od roku 1886 až po současnost. Dalším tématem práce je masová motorizace v Německu, vliv a význam automobilu na německý průmysl a ekonomiku. Dále se práce zabývá nevyhnutelnými změnami v pohonu automobilů, a to nahrazením konvenčních spalovacích motorů za ty elektrické.
