The importnace of family in the childhood of the serial killers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu významu rodiny, konkrétně v dětství sériových vrahů, a psychologii sériových vrahů. V teoretické části se zaměřím na rodinu, jaké by měla plnit funkce, k jakým dysfunkcím a poruchám může v rodinách docházet, příklady klinických rodin. U klinických rodin se budu věnovat tomu, jaké negativní dopady to na vývoj dítěte může mít, a udám příklady sériových vrahů, kteří si tím daným klinickým problémem prošli. V praktické části se budu věnovat třem případovým studiím sériových vrahů. V každé studii se budu věnovat dětství, trestné činnosti a psychologickému profilu sériového vraha. Vrazi, které budu zkoumat, jsou Edmund Kemper a Jeffrey Dahmer z patologického prostředí a Jiří Straka z nepatologického prostředí. Cílem práce bude zjistit, jaký vliv má rodina na budoucí chování jedince.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis will be about the topic of importance of family, especially in childhood of serial killers, and psychology of serial killers. In the theoritical part, I will focus on family, what functions it should fulfill, what dysfunctions and disorders can be in families, examples of clinical families. For clinical families I will focus on which negative effects it could have on child's develompent. I will give examples of serial killers, who have gone throught that clinical problem. In practical part, I will focus on three studies of serial killers. In each study I will deal with their childhood, crimes and psychological profile of a serial killer. The killers I will examine are Edmund Kemper and Jeffrey Dahmer, from pathological family and Jiří Straka from non-pathological family. The aim of the work will be to find out what influence the family has on the behavior of the individual.
