Monuments of extinct settlements in the central part of Šumava
Abstract:
The goal of this bachelor's thesis was the analysis of monuments and other memorials of seven selected extinct villages in Šumava near the Czech-German border. The reasons and circumstances of the demise of the villages are described in detail in the first chapter. Cílem této bakalářské práce byla analýza památníků a dalších pietních připomínek sedmi vybraných zaniklých vesnic na Šumavě v blízkosti česko-německé hranice. Důvody a okolnosti zániku vesnic jsou podrobně popsány v první kapitole. V rámci analýzy vesnic vycházím z jejich historie, na ní pak navazuje popis památníků, dalších pietních připomínek a pozůstatků vesnic, včetně jejich kritického zhodnocení …more
