Occupational therapy intervention for individuals with ASD

Abstract:

Teoretická část bakalářské práce se zabývá aktuálním profilem autismu a jeho fenoménu. Pojednává o patrném rozdílu mezi vývojem "normálních" dětí a omezení autistů od raného věku. Představuje stěžejní metody zvolené pro ergoterapeutickou intervenci. Jedná se o Kognitivně-motorickou metodu biofeedback pomocí Sun Ball, princip MST - mluvit nahlas, myslet nahlas prof. Feuersteina a Millerovy metody ko-gnitivního rozvoje. Zabývá se pomocí začlenění takto postižených do společnosti v kontextu přípravy chlapce na školní docházku. Cílem ergoterapeutické intervence chlapce s dětským autismem s lehkou mentální re-tardací je příprava na školní docházku. V daném případě se jedná o východiska zaměřená na jemnou motoriku a kognitivní rozvoj pomocí teoreticky zpracovaných metod. Práce nás podrobně provází ergoterapeutickými intervencemi a závěrečným zhodnocením.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the current profile of autism and its phenomenon. It discusses the apparent difference between the development of "normal" children and the limitations of autism from an early age. It represents the pivotal methods chosen for ergotherapeutic intervention. It is a Cognitive-motoric bio-feedback method using SunBall, the principle of MST - speak aloud - think aloud prof. Feuerstein and Miller's methods of cognitive development. It deals with the inclusion of the disabled in society in the context of preparing the boy for school attendance. The objective of occupational teraphy of a child with childhood autism with a slight mental retardation is to prepare him for school attendance. In the given case is the these is the starting ways, focused at fine hand motorrmove-ments and cognitive development through theoretically processed methods. The work us detaily showing intervention work and in final evaluation.
