Physical chemistry - inspiration for teachers

Abstract:

Práce je tvořena třemi základními částmi. První část je věnována vyhodnocení dotazníku a testu z fyzikální chemie. Test je tvořen celkem 100 otázkami z deseti oblastí fyzikální chemie. Při vyhodnocení byly sledovány tři skupiny respondentů: studenti bakalářského oboru, kteří měli bezprostředně po absolvování kurzu Fyzikální chemie, studenti navazujících magisterských oborů a učitelé chemie. Nejvyšší úspěšnosti dosáhli studenti navazujících magisterských oborů. Nejlepších výsledků bylo dosaženo v tématech: ideální plyn, termochemie a elektrochemie. Naopak nejhorší výsledky byly v okruzích chemických a fázových rovnováh. Druhá část příspěvku je věnována obsahu učebnic z pohledu fyzikální chemie, resp. propojení mezi vybraným tematickým celkem a okruhem fyzikální chemie. Například propojení tematického celku Vzduch a voda s fázovými rovnováhami jednosložkové soustavy. Tato část zahrnuje teoretická východiska a vzorové příklady. Míru inspirace pro učitele naplňuje třetí část, věnována příkladům aplikace fyzikální chemie v každodenním životě na straně jedné a příklady špičkového výzkumu ve vybraných oblastech na straně druhé.

Abstract:

This work consists of three basic parts. The first part is devoted to the evaluation of questionnaire and test of physical chemistry. The test consists of a total of 100 questions from the ten fields of physical chemistry. We were studied three groups of respondents during the evaluation: undergraduate students who had immediately after completion of the course Physical Chemistry, students of Master's degree courses and chemistry teachers. The highest successful achieved students of Master's degree courses. The best results were achieved in subjects: ideal gas, thermochemistry and electrochemistry. The worst results were in chemical equilibrium and phase equilibrium themes. The second part is devoted to the content of textbooks in terms of physical chemistry, or better say, between selected topic and physical chemistry subject. For example, linking between the topic ? the Air and the Water? and phase equilibrium of pure substance systems. This section covers the theoretical basis and examples. The inspiration for the teacher covers the third part, devoted to examples of the application of physical chemistry in everyday life on the one hand and examples of excelent research in selected areas on the other.
