Diplomová práce se zabývá stavem obezity u žen v Jihomoravském kraji a to na základě hodnocení různých ukazatelů obezity. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na definování základních pojmů v problematice obezity, na epidemiologii, příčiny a zdravotní rizika obezity, včetně způsobů její identifikace.
