V kapitolách teoretické části jsou zpracovaná základní témata – senior, stáří, rodina a vícegenerační soužití. Empirická část práce obsahuje případové studie jednotlivých vícegeneračních rodin a jejich vzájemné soužití. Zpracované výsledky nabízí pohled na danou problematiku jak ze strany seniora, tak i ze strany rodiny a jejich vzájemné porovnání. Následnou analýzou výsledků byly zodpovězeny výzkumné otázky a naplněny cíle diplomové práce.

The chapters of the theoretical part present basic topics – senior, old age, family and multigenerational cohabitation. The empirical part of the work includes different studies of multigenerational families and their mutual coexistence. It offers a look at the issues from the both side of the senior as well as from the family and their mutual comparison. The subsequent analysis of the different studies answers the research questions and achieves the objectives of the thesis.
