Práce analyzuje vývoj invalidity a invalidních důchodů a zkoumá jejich význam v příjmech osob se zdravotním postižením v produktivním věku. Sledované období jsou roky 2010-2019. Nejdříve se zabývá vymezením základní pojmů dle právní úpravy. Poté zkoumá vývoj invalidních důchodů ve zkoumaném období a dalších ukazatelů, které jsou s invalidními důchody porovnávány.
