Abstract:
The work focuses on the significance of pneumolysin in contribution to virulence of Streptococcus pneumoniae serotype 1 isolates. Methods include bioinformatics as well as in vitro assays. A SNP within nucleotide sequence of the second virulence factor, hyaluronidase, is a subject for screen of meningitis isolates.Abstract:
Práce se zaměřuje na význam pneumolysinu v souvislosti s virulencí Streptokoka pneumonie kmenů serotypu 1. Metody zahrnují bioinformatiku a in vitro analýzy. SNP v nukleotidové sekvenci druhého virulenčního faktoru, hyaluronidázy, je předmětem zkoumání meningitidových kmenů.
