Anotace: Cílem mé práce je nastínit problematiku teorií morálně ospravedlňujících trest. Především se v práci zabývám retributivismem, konsekvencialismem a sporem mezi těmito teoretickými směry. Snažím se zohlednit argumenty pro i proti daným teoriím a v krátkosti vymezit jejich vliv na trestání a trestní politiku. Annotation: Purpose of my work is to outline the issue of teories ethically justifying punishment. Primarily, I am concerned with retributivism, consequentialism and contradiction between these theoretic movements in my work.
