Efficient numerical methods for solution of advection-diffusion equation
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá numerickými metodami pro řešení difuzní a advekčně-difuzní rovnice. Problémy toho typu jsou zásadní v mnoha modelech mechaniky tekutin, ale i dalších fyzikálních fenoménů. Pro diskretizaci úlohy jsou použity metoda konečných diferencí a metoda konečných prvků. Zabýváme se iteračními metodami pro řešení soustav lineárních algebraických rovnic vzniklých při použití těchto metod. …more
Abstract:
This work deals with methods for solution of advection-diffusion equation. Those problems arise in several models of flows, but also in other physical phenomena. For discretization there is used finite differences method and finite elements method. This work also focuses on iterative method for solution of resulting system of linear algebraic equations.
