Current financial crisis and public finance of the Slovak Republic

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to inform readers about the problems of public finances , the financial crisis and subsequent analysis. The first chapter focuses on the technical descriptions and definitions of problems in public finances, thus determining their functions in the composition; Thus, fiscal imbalances by creating budget deficits financial crisis causes of their history . The second chapter describes the development of Government Finance as the revenue side and on the side of expenditure subsequent analysis of public debt in the event of a financial crisis. The third chapter is the analysis undertaken following the development of public finances of the Slovak republic during the crisis , trying to assess the measures carried out by the state in order to consolidate public finances.

Abstract:

Cieľom diplomovej práce je oboznámiť čitateľa s problematikou verejných financií, finančných kríz a následnej analýzy. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na popis a definíciu problematiky v oblastiach Verejných financií teda určenia ich funkcií a zloženia; fiškálnej nerovnováhy teda vytvárania rozpočtových deficitov a finančných kríz ich história a príčiny vzniku. Druhá kapitola popisuje vývoj verejných financií SR ako na strane príjmov tak na strane výdavkov a následnú analýzu verejného dlhu v čase finančnej krízy. Tretia kapitola sa v nadväznosti na vykonanú analýzu vývoja verejných financií Slovenskej republiky v období krízy, snaží zhodnotiť opatrenia vykonané zo strany štátu s cieľom konsolidácie verejných financií.
