Abstract:
This thesis examines the change of male stereotypes in selected movies of American director John Ford, The Iron Horse (1924) and The Stagecoach (1939). It also deals with the portrayal of the frontier myth in both movies.
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce má za cíl popsat proměnu mužských stereotypů ve vybraných westernových filmech amerického režiséra Johna Ford The Iron Horse (1924) a The Stagecoach (1939). Také se zabývá podobou hraničního mýtu v obou snímcích.
