Using of Play therapy in the hospital school

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu využití prvků Herní terapie ve vybrané škole při nemocnici. Teoretická část je rozdělena do dvou kapitol. První kapitola rozebírá zdraví a nemoc se zaměřením na holistické pojetí. Rozebírá dopady nemoci na psychiku, sociální role a kvalitu života člověka. Druhá kapitola vymezuje legislativu a hlavní funkce škol při nemocnicích. Představuje profesi Herního specialisty. Navazující praktická část se opírá o tato teoretická východiska. Kvalitativní výzkumné šetření zjišťuje využívání prvků Herní terapie pedagogickými pracovníky ve vybrané škole při nemocnici. Je zkoumáno rozdělení kompetencí Herního specialisty mezi nemocniční personál a vliv Herní terapie na hospitalizované děti, ale i na děti zdravé, a to formou Osvětových programů. K naplnění výzkumných cílů bylo využito strukturovaných rozhovorů s participujícími pedagogickými pracovníky a pozorování.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is analysing, which techniques of Play Therapy are used in one particular hospital school. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. First chapter is about health and illness, focusing on holistic concept. It is focusing on negative impact of illness on mental health, social role and quality of life in general. The second chapter contains legislation and the main purpose of hospital schools. There is also introduced a Play Therapist and his work. Following practical part is based on this theory. Qualitative research is focusing on using techniques of Play Therapy by educators in one particular hospital school. Secondary goals are to find out, how are the competencies of the Play Therapists divided among the hospital staff. Research is also focused on an impact of the Play Therapy on hospitalized children and also impact on healthy children after participating on a preventive programm of Play Therapy. To fulfill the main goals of the research was used structured interview with educators in hospital school and observation.
