Tématem této diplomové práce je popsat a komentovat vývoj reputace Williama Shakespeara od doby kdy ještě žil a tvořil až do konce 18. století. Tato studie je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních částí: reputace do roku 1623, do doby obrození, v době obrození a reputace v 18. století, kdy už můžeme hovořit o Shakespearovi jako o ikoně všech dob.
Abstract:
The present study aims to describe and comment on the historical course of Shakespeare's reputation from his lifetime to the close of the eighteenth century. The study is divided into four main parts: Shakespeare's reputation to 1623 and the First Folio; his reputation from the First Folio to the Restoration; his reputation in Restoration; and his reputation in the eighteenth century, when the terms …more
