Applying managerial functions in everyday practice of a hotel manager

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zjištění toho, jaké manažerské funkce manažeři považují za nejdůležitější a jaké přístupy, metody a postupy se jim při jejich uplatňování v praxi osvědčily. V rámci dané práce byl proveden výzkum v podobě dotazníkového šetření mezi manažery hotelů. Pomocí interpretace a analýzy výsledků šetření bylo zjištěno jaké funkce jsou pro hotelové manažery nejdůležitější a jaké přístupy, metody se jim při plnění těchto funkcí osvědčily. Na základě provedene práce byla navrhnuta možná doporučení pro manažery hotelů.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is focused on finding out which managerial functions managers consider to be the most important and what approaches, methods and procedures have proved themselves in their application in practice. Within the work, research was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey among hotel managers. With the help of interpretation and analysis of the survey results, it was found out which functions are most important for hotel managers and which approaches, methods have proved their worth in performing these functions. Based on accomplished work, possible recommendations for hotel managers were proposed.
