The impact of joining the European Monetary Union on current account balance of the balance of payments
Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce je prozkoumat, jak se vyvíjelo saldo běžného účtu platební bilance, celková vnější rovnováha a konkurenceschopnost Slovenské republiky v období mezi vstupem do Evropské unie a přijetím společné evropské měny a následně i po přijetí eura až do současnosti. To celé ve srovnání s Českou republikou za stejné časové období.
Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine how the current account of the balance of payments, the overall external balance and the competitiveness of the Slovak Republic have evolved in the period between the accession to the European Union and the adoption of the common european currency and subsequently after the adoption of euro up to the present day.
