Strategies for Incorporating Diversity Management into Corporate Culture

Abstract:

Práce zkoumá důležitost a přínosy diversity managementu ve vztahu k výkonnosti a konkurenceschopnosti organizace. V práci je popsán koncept diversity managementu, pozornost je věnována rovněž analýze současných trendů a důvodů, proč organizace začleňují diversity management do své strategie. Hlavním cílem práce je nejprve identifikovat efektivní strategie, postupy a nástroje, které konkrétní vybraná organizace využívá za účelem úspěšného začlenění principů diversity managementu do své kultury, a to včetně jejich očekávaných pozitivních vlivů na výkonnost a konkurenceschopnost organizace, a následně jsou pak formulována autorská doporučení pro danou organizaci, jak tyto strategie, postupy a nástroje nejlépe implementovat.

Abstract:

The thesis examines the importance and benefits of diversity management in relation to the performance and competitiveness of an organization. The concept of diversity management is described, with attention given to the analysis of current trends and reasons why organizations incorporate diversity management into their strategies. The primary objective of the thesis is first to identify effective strategies, practices, and tools utilized by a specific selected organization for the successful incorporation of diversity management principles into its culture. This includes an examination of their expected positive impacts on the organization's performance and competitiveness. Subsequently, the thesis formulates authorial recommendations for the organization on how to best implement these strategies, practices, and tools in a practical manner.
