Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá cestopisem Karla Čapka Anglické listy a jeho anglickým překladem. Jejím cílem je zjistit, do jaké míry odpovídá překlad originálu. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je věnována teorii překladu.
