Diplomová práce se věnuje románu „Z hlubin“ Margaret Atwoodové, přičemž jeho interpretace se soustředí na narativní reprezentaci traumatu. U vypravěčky se následkem interrupce provedené ilegálně a pod nátlakem rozvíjí posttraumatická stresová porucha. Abstract:
The thesis deals with the novel "Surfacing" by Margaret Atwood, and its interpretation focuses on the narrative representation of trauma. The narrator develops post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of an illegal and forced abortion.
