Lesbian couples' opinions on parenting

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce jsou názory lesbických párů na rodičovství. Jaký je jejich pohled na založení vlastní rodiny a jak vnímají názor společnosti. Zaměřuji se především na to, do jaké míry lesbické páry ovlivňuje postoj společnosti ke stejnopohlavním rodinám. Teoretická část práce se věnuje vymezení rodiny a rodičovství, homosexuality, registrovaného partnerství a cesty k homosexuálnímu rodičovství. Empirická část práce se zabývá metodologií kvalitativního výzkumu a následnou analýzou dat získaných pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s páry.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on lesbian couples' opinions on parenting. This paper describes their views on starting their own family life and shows how they deal with public opinion. The major objective of this study is to analyse how public opinion on LGBT parenting influences their lives. The theoretical part is focused on different concepts of a family and parenting, homosexuality, registered partnerships and ways to LGBT parenting. The empirical part of this study examines the methodology of qualitative research. Data for this research were gathered from semi-structured interviews and served for a further analysis.
