This thesis deals with connected speech in English and how it can be improved when using songs and rhymes. In the theoretical background chapter, the term connected speech is described, individual aspects of connected speech are explained and possible ways and reasons of using songs and rhymes in English lessons. Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá mluveným projevem v anglického jazyka a jak může být zlepšen používáním písní a říkanek. V teoretické části je vysvětlen pojem connected speech, prvky, které jej tvoří a možné způsoby a důvody k používání písní a říkanek v hodinách anglického jazyka.
