This thesis is a comparative analysis between the literary work Naufragios by Álvar Núňez Cabeza de Vaca and the film Cabeza de Vaca by Nicolás Echevarría, exploring the subtle and little visible presence of coloniality in today's society and the importance of reflecting on it.
