Bitcoin – decentralizované finance a jeho rozdíl oproti klasickým FIAT měnám

Abstract:

Udržitel hodnoty a neznehodnocování životních úspor je pro každého člověka velmi důležité, jelikož mnohdy na své úspory těžce pracovali celý život. Tuto funkci však dnešní monetární systém a s ním spojené klasické FIAT měny již dávno nesplňují. Z pomyslného koláče celoživotních úspor obyvatel se tak každoročně díky inflaci ukrajuje velký kus. Právě z tohoto důvodu je tématem této bakalářské práce kryptoměna Bitcoin. Cílem bakalářské práce je identifikovat signifikantní rozdíly mezi Bitcoinem a klasickými FIAT měnami, vyjádřit hodnotu těchto měn v měnovém systému, kde standardním ekonomickým měřítkem je zlato. Jsou využity metody technické analýzy, analýza časových řad, fundamentální analýza a metoda srovnání. Technická analýza je použita pro srovnání hodnoty Bitcoinu vůči Euru a Americkému dolaru. Analýza časových řad je využita především v grafu o bitcoinové inflaci a fundamentální analýza při zjišťování hodnot FIAT měn – Eura a Amerického dolaru, v porovnáním s Bitcoinem. Z výsledků vyplývá, že kupní síla Bitcoinu neustále roste, zatímco kupní síla Eura a Amerického dolaru neustále klesá. Potvrzuje se i hypotéza, že Bitcoin je měnou deflační, zatímco Euro a Americký dolar měnou vysoce inflační a tím pádem i třetí hypotéza, která tvrdí, že je Bitcoin digitální zlato budoucnosti. Rozdíl mezi Bitcoinem a vybranými FIAT měnami je především ten, že zatímco se FIAT měny s přibývajícím časem neustále znehodnocují, tak hodnota Bitcoinu naopak neustále narůstá. Jedním z těchto důvodů je i skutečnost, že klasické FIAT měny mají neomezenou peněžní zásobu. Oproti nim je peněžní zásoba Bitcoinu konečná a předem známá. Dalším výsledkem, jedné z výzkumných otázek, je také vysoká pravděpodobnost, že v budoucnu může Bitcoin nahradit zlato ve smyslu bezpečného přístavu a udržitele hodnoty.

Abstract:

Maintaining value and not worsening life savings is very important for everyone, because it often worked hard to save its life. However, today's monetary system and the associated classic FIAT currencies have long since failed to fulfill this function. Every year, thanks to inflation, a large piece of the imaginary pie of life savings of the population is cut. It is for this reason that the topic of this bachelor thesis is the cryptocurrency bitcoin. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to identify significant differences between Bitcoin and classic FIAT currencies, to express the value of these currencies in the monetary system, where the standard economic measure is gold. Methods of technical analysis, time series analysis, fundamental analysis and comparative method are used. The technical analysis is used to compare the value of bitcoin against the EURO and the US dollar. Time series analysis is used mainly in the bitcoin inflation chart and fundamental analysis in determining the values of the currencies FIAT - the euro and the US dollar in comparison with bitcoins. The results show that the purchasing power of bitcoin is constantly growing, while the purchasing power of the euro and the US dollar is constantly declining. The hypothesis that Bitcoin is a deflationary currency is also confirmed, while the Euro and the US dollar are highly inflationary currencies, and thus the third hypothesis that Bitcoin is the digital gold of the future. The main difference between Bitcoin and selected FIAT currencies is that while FIAT currencies are constantly weakening over time, the value of Bitcoin is constantly growing. One of these reasons is the fact that classic FIAT currencies have an unlimited money supply. In contrast, the money supply of bitcoin is finite and known in advance. Another result, one of the research questions, is also the high probability that in the future Bitcoin can replace gold in terms of safe harbor and sustainability value.
