Nursing care of patients with peritoneal dialysis

Abstract:

Tato absolventská práce se zabývá peritoneální dialýzou, která představuje jednu z možností léčby chronického selhání ledvin. Je rozčleněna na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je text rozdělen do 3 hlavních kapitol. V první kapitole se pojednává o anatomii a fyziologii ledvin. Druhá kapitola se soustředí na základní vyšetření při onemocnění ledvin a ve třetí kapitole uvádím 3 metody léčby chronického selhání ledvin. Protože je peritoneální dialýza v mé práci stěžejní, je jí zde dáno nejvíce prostoru. Transplantace a hemodialýza jsou popsány stručněji. Praktická část je věnována ošetřovatelské péči o pacienty s peritoneální dialýzou. Do své práce jsem vybrala dva věkově rozdílné pacienty, na kterých jsem chtěla demonstrovat, že peritoneální dialýza je možná v každém věku, zvlášť pokud se do procesu léčby zapojí i rodina. Pozornost je zaměřena na ošetřovatelskou anamnézu, průběh hospitalizace, shromažďování údajů v oblasti uspokojování potřeb, ošetřovatelský plán a edukaci.

Abstract:

This graduate work is concerned with peritoneal dialysis, which is one of the options for treatment of chronic renal failure. It is divided into theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part of the text is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter discusses the anatomy and physiology of the kidney. The second chapter focuses on the basic tests for kidney diseases and in the third chapter I present three methods of treatment of chronic renal failure. Because peritoneal dialysis is crucial in my work, she is given much space here. Transplantation and hemodialysis are described briefly. The practical part is devoted to nursing care of patients with peritoneal dialysis. In my work I chose two different patient age, where I wanted to demonstrate that peritoneal dialysis is possible at any age, especially if the treatment process will also involve the family.
