Revitalization of brownfields in the Sokolov

Abstract:

Záměrem této diplomové práce je seznámení s problematikou brownfields v oblasti města Sokolov. Hlavním úkolem je zmapovat brownfields zájmového území, vypracovat databázi brownfields města Sokolov. První část práce popisuje současný stav revitalizace brownfields, možnosti jeho využití a problematiku s brownfields spojenou. V druhé části práce je vypracovaná databáze brownfields, která pro danou lokalitu chybí. Doporučení využití na základě vlastního návrhu a zahraničních příkladů. Práce obsahuje nejenom texty, ale i tabulky, grafy, fotografie, mapy, které mohou sloužit jako podklady při realizaci projektu, nebo pro inspiraci budoucího využití území.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to get acquainted with brownfields issues in the area of the city Sokolov.The main task is to map the brownfields of the area of interest, to develop the brownfield database of Sokolov. The first part of the thesis describes the current state of revitalization of brownfields, the possibilities of its utilization and the problem with the brownfields connected. The second part of the thesis is a database of brownfields that is missing for the given location. Recommendation of use based on own design and foreign examples.The work contains not only texts, but also tables, charts, photographs, maps that can serve as the basis for project implementation or for inspiration of future use of the area.
