Monastery of Cluny and its reforms
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce Klášter Cluny a jeho reformy se zabývá založením a následnou reformní expanzí tohoto burgundského kláštera nejen na území pozdější Francie, ale i ve Španělsku, Itálii, Svaté říši římské a Anglii. Dále se práce věnuje gregoriánské reformě a úloze, jako v ní klášter Cluny hrál. Na závěr se práce zaměřuje i na pozvolný úpadek clunyjského vlivu.
Abstract:
Bachelor thesis Monastery of Cluny and its reform deals with the establishment and subsequent expansion of the reform of this Burgundian monastery not only in the later France but also in Spain, Italy, the Holy Roman Empire and England. Work further deals with a Gregorian reform and the role of monastery of Cluny in this reform. Finally, the work focuses on the gradual decline of Cluniac influence …more
