Influence of nitrogen and phosphorus on chemical compound of potato tubers

Abstract:

Cílem mé diplomové práce bylo sledovat vliv stupňovaných dávek dusíku a fosforu na výnos a chemické složení hlíz velmi raných brambor. Problematika byla řešena formou nádobového pokusu. Hlízy byly sklizeny po 90 dnech vegetace, kdy jsou v konzumní zralosti. Po jejich zvážení a spočítání byly analyzovány na obsah sušiny, škrobu, fosforu, dusíku, hrubé bílkoviny a jednotlivých aminokyselin. Vysoké množství dusíku použitého ke hnojení brambor sice zvyšovalo výnos hlíz, ale mělo negativní vliv na syntézu škrobu, bílkovin a aminokyselin. Stupňované dávky fosforu se projevily ve zvyšování obsahu tohoto prvku v sušině bramborových hlíz při současném snižování množství škrobu v čerstvé hmotě. Vliv fosforu na výnosové parametry brambor se projevil jako statisticky nevýznamný.

Abstract:

The aim of my diploma thesis was to follow the influence of graded concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorus on harvest and chemical composition of tubers of very earlymaturing potatoes. The issue was solved by the form of pot experiment. The tubers were harvested after 90 days of vegetation, when they were in the stage of consumer maturity. After their weighing and counting they were analyzed on the content of the dry matter, starch, phosphorus, nitrogen, rough protein and single amino-acids. The high content of nitrogen used for fertilization of potatoes increased the harvest of tubers, but it had negative effect on synthesis of starch, proteins and amino-acids. The graded concentrations of phosphorus became evident by increase of content of this element in the dry matter of potato tubers at simultaneous decrease of content of starch in the fresh matter. The influence of phosphorus on the harvest parameters became evident as statistically insignificant.
