Musical preferences of pupils at the second level of primary schools

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zkoumá a analyzuje hudební preference dospívajících žáků základních škol. Teoretická část se v první kapitole zabývá charakteristikou žáka 2. stupně základní školy, v níž je zahrnuta i sociologie a psychologie dospívajících. Dále navazuje kapitolou o hudební sociologii, ve které se zabývá hudební identitou, důležitostí zpěvu, zvukovou kulisou, hudbou ve škole a hudebním vývojem dospívajících. Třetí kapitola se věnuje hudební psychologii, emocím, vlivu hudby na dospívající, hudební formě, druhu, žánru a v poslední části hudebnímu vkusu a preferencím. Cílem práce bylo zmapovat hudební preference dospívajících za pomocí dotazníkového šetření a potvrdit či vyvrátit mnou stanovené hypotézy, čemuž se věnuje praktická část bakalářské práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis examines and analyses the musical preferences of adolescents primary school pupils. The theoretical part in the first chapter deals with the characteristics of the 2nd grade primary school student, which includes sociology and psychology of adolescents. This is followed by a chapter on the sociology of music, which discusses musical identity, the importance of singing, soundscapes, music in school and adolescent musical development. The third chapter discusses music psychology, emotions, the influence of music on adolescents, musical form, type, genre, and, in the last section, musical tastes and preferences. The aim of the thesis was to map the musical preferences of adolescents by means of questionnaire survey and to confirm or refute my hypotheses, which is the focus of the practical part of the bachelor thesis.
