My thesis is focused on newspaper headlines in the French press and on comparing analysis of the French compressed form. The first part is explaining to the slang term lead and its main features: headline, over headline, by-line and subtitle. Illustrations and legends are also parts of the lead. Práce je zaměřena na novinové titulky ve francouzském tisku a na srovnávací analýzu jejich zhuštěných forem. První část je věnována vysvětlení žurnalistického slangového pojmu poutač a jeho hlavních částí, kterými je tvořen: titulek, nad titulek, pod titulek, mezititulek.
