Abstract:
The thesis deals with the translation of A Clockwork Orange, a novel by the English author Anthony Burgess, into Czech. Specifically, the thesis compares the 2002 and 2016 editions of Ladislav Šenkyřík's translation. The novel is written in an artificial, Russian-based slang called Nadsat.
