The General Standard of Nursing Care of Chemotherapy Application

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce bylo vytvoření obecného standardu ošetřovatelské péče aplikace chemoterapie pro nelékařské pracovníky onkologického centra Novojičínské nemocnice, pracoviště onkologické ambulance v Ostravě Vítkovicích. Teoretická část práce se věnuje problematice onkologie, etiologie a patogeneze zhoubných onemocnění, vyšetřovacím metodám v onkologii, terapii a léčebným postupům. Druhá kapitola se zabývá tématem standardizace v ošetřovatelství z pohledu kvality ve zdravotnictví, posuzování úrovně zdravotní péče a specifika ošetřovatelské péče u pacientů podstupující onkologickou intravenózní protinádorovou chemoterapii. V praktické části byl autorkou bakalářské práce zpracován pilotní návrh obecného standardu ošetřovatelské péče aplikace chemoterapie za použití odborné literatury, vlastních praktických zkušeností, brožur, platných vyhlášek a směrnic pro onkologickou ambulanci v Ostravě Vítkovicích. Na následné schůzce byly sepsány připomínky a návrhy vybraných nelékařských pracovníků k pilotnímu návrhu standardu a na základě těchto dat vypracována finální podoba obecného ošetřovatelského standardu aplikace chemoterapie.

Abstract:

The main reason behind the Bachelor thesis was to create a general standards of nursing care, chemotherapy application for non-medical staff at the Oncology Centre, Novojicinska Hospital, Oncology Department in Ostrava- Vitkovice. The theoretical part of the thesis is looking at the Oncology issues, etiology and pathogenesis of the cancer diseases, examination of the methods in Oncology, therapy and healing methods. The second part is looking at the topic of Nursing Standards from the perspective of quality in Healthcare, assessing the level of medical care and the specifics of Nursing care for patients undergoing the oncological intravenous cancer chemotherapy. In a practical part, the author of this Bachelor thesis have processed an introductory draft of the general standards in Nursing care chemotherapy application with the aid of the professional literature, own practical experiences, brochures, valid regulations and guidelines for the Oncology Centre in Ostrava-Vitkovice. At the following meeting, all the comments and suggestions were recorded from the non-medical staff towards the introductory draft of standards and on the badis of the collected data the final form of general Nursing standards for chemotherapy application was drawn.
