Strategies for the Application of Mutation Testing to Large Software Projects
Abstract:
Mutation testing je technika, ktorá určuje kvalitu napísaných testov. Jej veľkou nevýhodou je jej výpočtová zložitosť, vďaka ktorej nieje v súčasnosti moc adaptovaná pri vyvíjaní software Úlohou tejto práce je analyzovať možné spôsoby, ako by sme mohli znižiť jej výpočtovú náročnosť, ako aj vylepšit jej výsledky.
Abstract:
Mutation Testing is a powerful mechanism to detect the quality of software tests. However, it has not been widely adopted in the software industry mainly due to its computational complexity. This thesis aims to investigate new methods to improve its computational cost, as well as to provide new tools to improve the quality of the test results.
