Diplomová práce se věnuje řízení procesů a projektů, tedy projektovému managementu. Pro práci byla zvolena konkrétní společnost RENETRA s.r.o., která se již několik let projektově řídí a to z důvodu časové náročnosti zakázek a střední velikosti firmy.
