Social Networking and its Possible Risks

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma "Sociální sítě a jejich možná rizika" se zabývá možným nebezpečím v prostředí sociálních sítí. Teoretická část obsahuje popis pojmů sociálních sítí a také nebezpečí s nimi spojené. Charakterizuje adolescenty, kteří sociální sítě nejvíce používají, a uvádí projekty, které se touto problematikou zabývají. Dále popisuje prevenci v rodině a ve školství. V empirické části bylo využito kvantitativní metody a k získání primárních dat bylo aplikováno dotazníkové šetření, které bylo doplněno polostrukturovanými rozhovory. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit možná ohrožení adolescentů v prostředí sociálních sítí. Bylo zjištěno, že kyberšikana, porucha příjmu potravy a hoaxy se mezi adolescenty vyskytují nejvíce. Dílčím cílem bylo zjistit, zda si lidé hrozící nebezpečí uvědomují a dostatečně se v tomto prostředí chrání. Výstupy prokázaly, že informovanost respondentů je dostatečná a jsou seznámeni s tím, jak tuto situaci řešit, ačkoliv se dostatečně nechrání.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis on Social networking and Its possible risks is focused on possible dangers in social networking environment. The theoretical part includes description of social networking terms and dangers associated with them. It describes adolescents and introduces projects in order to deal with these matters. Furthermore defines prevention in a families and schools. In the empirical part was used quantitative method and applied questionnaire to get primary data which were complemented by semi-structured interviews. The aim was to find out possible dangers of adolescents in the social networking enviroment. It was found that cybercrime, eating disorder and hoax are the most occured at adolescents. The purpose of the partial aim was to find out whether the respondents are aware of possible danger and if they are protecting themselves enough. Outcomes have proved that respondents knowledge of danger is sufficient and they are aware of how to resolve this situation, although they don't protect themselves enough.
