Time management of employees at Unicorn

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou chování v oblasti time managementu zaměstnanců společnosti Unicorn. Cílem práce je zhodnotit efektivitu time managementu, ale také analýza vlivu time managementu na pracovní spokojenost a psychickou zátěž zaměstnanců dané společnosti. Teoretická část práce představuje základní koncepty time managementu, jeho historický vývoj, efektivní organizaci práce, včetně metod a nástrojů time managementu. Praktická část je věnována vlastnímu výzkumu, pro který byla využita kvantitativní metoda sběru dat pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Bylo zjištěno, že zaměstnanci společnosti Unicorn mají velice dobré chování v oblasti time managementu, především v organizování práce a stanovení cílů a priorit. Díky těmto faktorům vnímají, že mají kontrolu nad svým časem. Dále bylo zjištěno, že time management zaměstnanců v dané společnosti nemá vliv na jejich pracovní spokojenost, ale naopak má pozitivní vliv na jejich psychickou zátěž. Přínosem diplomové práce je návrh doporučení pro zlepšení time managementu zaměstnanců společnosti Unicorn, které může vést k lepšímu vnímaní kontroly nad jejich časem.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the analysis of time management behaviour of employees at Unicorn. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of time management, but also to analyse the impact of time management on job satisfaction and psychological strain of employees of the company. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the basic concepts of time management, its historical development, effective work organization, including methods and tools of time management. The practical part is devoted to the actual research, for which was applied a quantitative method of data collection by questionnaire survey. It was found that Unicorn employees have very good time management behaviour, especially in organizing work and setting goals and priorities. Due to these factors, they perceive that they have control over their time. It was also found that time management of employees in the company does not affect their job satisfaction, but on the contrary has a positive effect on their psychological strain. The contribution of this thesis is the suggestion of recommendations for improving the time management of employees at Unicorn, which may lead to a better perception of control over their time.
