První část práce bude pojednávat o závislostech, jejich dělení a obecnému popisu, dále o školské prevenci před nežádoucími sociálně patologickými jevy. V práci se také zaměřím na popis behaviorálních závislostí. V neposlední řadě se práce bude zabývat intervencemi a metodami sociálních pracovníků a zmíní zařízení, kde lze získat odborné poradenství.
