Diplomová práca predostiera problematiku vzťahu medzi panovníkom a šľachtickým stavom, do ktorého výrazne vstupuje osoba Jana Zamoyského. Práca sa snaží zachytiť postupné prenikanie Zamoyského do formovania politického systému štátu, do ktorého v období interregnien prenáša vlastné predstavy o úlohe panovníka a šľachty v priestore poľsko-litovského štátu.
