Tato práce se zabývá problematikou dětských úrazů, která je u nás velmi aktuální, protože úrazy jsou v České republice nejčastější příčinou úmrtí u dětí a mládeže do 18 let. Úvod práce je věnován historii prevence dětských úrazů ve světě a v České republice. Dále se práce snaží seznámit s institucemi, v jejichž kompetenci je prevence dětské úrazovosti v České republice.
