The Directive 83/2011/EU and its amendments including its implementation into Czech civil law are subject of this thesis. The thesis analysis both the Directive and Czech legislature that implemented it using academic literature, decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union and cases of Supreme Courts of the member states.
