The Specifics of Early-Age Development of a Child with Visual Impairments or Blindness

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je zjistit specifika vývoje dítěte se zrakovým postižením v raném věku, jestli se vývoj opožďuje nebo je dítě schopnost vyrovnat se normě. Celá bakalářská práce se dělí na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se dělí na tři kapitoly. V první kapitole se vymezuje zrakové postižení, rozděluje se do kategorií a popisují se nejčastější zraková postižení v dětském věku. Druhá kapitola popisuje specifika vývoje hrubé a jemné motoriky v raném věku. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na psychosociální vývoj dítěte, tedy pozornost, vnímání, paměť, představy, myšlení, socializaci s řečí. Hlavní cíl bakalářské práce je sledovat a vyhodnotit problémy dítěte se zrakovým postižením v oblasti jemné a hrubé motoriky, a i psychosociální specifika raného vývoje dítěte se zrakovým postižením. Výzkumné šetření bylo prováděno pozorováním dítěte a rozhovory s rodinou.

Abstract:

The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to determine the specifics of early-age development of a child with visual impairments or blindness, whether is it's development delay or equal the norm. This thesis is divided to two sections, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is divided to three parts. In the first chapter is demarcation of visual impairment, division into categories and describe the most common visual impairments in childhood. The second chapter describe the specifics of the gross and fine motor skills in the early-age. The third chapter focuses on psychosocial development of the child, therefore attention, perception, memory, ideas, thinking, socialization and speech. The main aim of this bachelor's thesis is to observe and evaluate problems of a child with visual impairments or blindness in the part of the gross and fine motor skills, and the specifics of psychosocial development of the child with visual impairment. The research investigation was carried out by interviews with a family and observation of a child.
