Consumer society and negative effects of overconsumption

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je charakterizovat konzumní společnost, určit příčiny jejího vzniku a ana-lyzovat její negativní důsledky na obyvatelstvo. V teoretické části jsou postupně rozebrány oblasti globalizace, marketingu, reklamy a médií, které stojí za vznikem konzumní společ-nosti. Mezi důsledky konzumní společnosti patří nadspotřeba, jejímž negativním vlivům je věnován závěr teoretické části. V praktické části bude představen dotazník, který má za úkol zjistit, do jaké míry je současná společnost konzumní a zda se na ní projevují negativní vlivy nadspotřeby.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to describe consumer society, point out the aspects of it{\crq}s origin and analyse it{\crq}s bad effects on population. In theoretical part are gradually analysed spheres of globalization, marketing, advertisment and media, which are the main reasons of the origin of consumer society. Among the consequences of consumer society belongs over-consumption and it{\crq}s bad impacts are described at the end of theoretical part. In practical part will be introduced a questionnaire, which is supposed to find out how far is the con-temporary society consumer and if there are evident some bad impacts of overconsumption.
