Financial analysis in allowance organization of social services

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá finanční analýzou v příspěvkové organizaci sociálních služeb. Cílem práce je zhodnotit finanční situaci v příspěvkové organizaci sociálních služeb, porovnat ji s organizací s jinou právní formou, zjistit případné problémy a příspěvkové organizaci navrhnout jejich možné řešení. Za účelem cíle práce je provedena elementární horizontální a vertikální finanční analýza v Domově pro seniory Magnolie, příspěvkové organizaci a v Domě seniorů Pohoda, o.p.s. Rozbor je proveden v časovém rozmezí od roku 2005 do roku 2008. Diplomová práce je členěna do pěti kapitol. Teoretická část je věnována systému sociálních služeb v České republice, jeho financování a vysvětluje podstatu a význam finanční analýzy. Praktická část se zabývá finanční analýzou vybraných organizací a zhodnocení finanční situace příspěvkové organizace s možným výhledem do budoucna a doporučením ke zvýšení výnosů a snížení nákladů organizace.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the financial analysis of contributory social service organizations. The goal is to evaluate the financial situation of the contributory social service organization, compare it with other organizations with a legal form, identify potential problems and suggest possible solutions. In order to get the goals of the thesis, the elementary horizontal and vertical financial analysis is performed in the Home for Elderly People - Magnolia ? an allowance organization, and in the House for seniors Welfare, o.p.s. The analysis is performed at intervals from 2005 to 2008. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The theoretic part concerns the system of social services in the Czech Republic, financing and explains the nature and importance of financial analysis. Practical part concerns the financial analysis of selected organizations and the financial situation of the contributory organization with possible view to the future and recommendations to increase revenue and reduce costs of the organization.
