Political Identification of Green Party Members

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá tématem politické identifikace, která je ve výzkumné části posuzována na dvou členech Strany zelených. Politická identifikace je chápána jako ztotožnění se se stranou a je hodnocena její podoba. Intenzita politické identifikace je posuzována z hlediska několika faktorů, které byly hodnoceny prostřednictvím kategoriálně – formální narativní rekonstrukce. Důležité body z hlediska identifikace respondentů s danou stranou vyplývají z teoretické části, která se promítá do faktorů narativní rekonstrukce. Jedná se o následující kategorie: zda respondenti vnímají politiku jako své životné téma; jak promítají politickou činnost do svého jednání; jaké mezní situace v rámci své politické aktivity zažili; zda v ní vidí smysl a hodnotu do budoucna; jak vidí své stranické kolegy a ostatní osoby, které do jejich politického života nějakým způsobem zasahují; jakým způsobem reflektují svoji politickou aktivitu a zkušenost a závěrečným bodem je diskursivní kontext, čili jakou formou vypravěč svůj příběh o svém vztahu k politice vypráví. Výzkum byl proveden pouze na malém vzorku dvou lidí a byly zjištěny dva protikladné výsledky. Jedna zkoumaná osoba má vysokou míru politické identifikace, druhá naopak nízkou. Tyto výsledky vystihují i názory české veřejnosti o motivech vstupu do strany. Větší procento lidí si myslí, že do stran vstupují lidé pouze za účelem zisku pozice, kontaktů a finančních prostředků, což by mohlo částečně platit pro jednoho z respondentů. O něco menší procento lidí se domnívá, že lidé do stran vstupují, aby naplnili své ideály, které se ztotožňují s programem strany, což je zcela nepochybně případ druhého respondenta.

Abstract:

This work deals with subject of political identification, which consider two members of the Green Party in the research part. Political identification is understood as identification with the party and it is evaluated by its form. The intensity of political identification is assessed in terms of several factors that were evaluated through the categorical - formal narrative reconstruction. Important points in terms of respondents identifying with the party result from the theoretical part, which is reflected in the factors of narrative reconstruction. These include the following categories: if the respondents perceive a politics as their life goal, how they reflect political activity in their behaviour, which limited situations in their political activities have experienced, if they see meaning and value in their political activity for the future, how they see their party colleagues and other persons whose behavior intervene in their political life, how they reflect their political activity and experiences and final point is about the discourse context – it means how the narrator tell his story about his relationship to the policy. The research was conducted only on a small sample of two people and has found two contradictory results. One surveyed person has a high degree of political identification, the second person has low political identification. These results express the views of the Czech public about the motives of entry into the party. A higher percentage of people think that the people enter into parties just to gain positions, contacts and financial resources, which could partially pay for one of the respondents. Somewhat smaller percentage of people believe that people enter into the parties to fulfill their ideals, which identified with the party program. This is undoubtedly the case of the second respondent.
