The nursing process of woman before and after in vitro fertilization

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vytvoření ošetřovatelského procesu u vybrané ženy před a po in vitro fertilizaci. Ošetřovatelský proces zahrnuje posouzení, diagnostiku, plánování, realizaci a vyhodnocení. Data byla získána v centru asistované reprodukce v Praze. Pro sběr informací byla použita zdravotnická a ošetřovatelská dokumentace, následně byly informace také doplněny rozhovorem s klientkou. Závěrem bakalářské práce je vytvoření ošetřovatelského procesu, včetně stanovení ošetřovatelských diagnóz a jejich intervencí z NANDA International, které pomáhají zdravotnickému personálu předcházet komplikacím během celého procesu in vitro fertilizace, ale také po něm. Bakalářská práce zahrnuje část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části bakalářské práce se zaměřujeme na asistovanou reprodukci a na popis metod asistované reprodukce, dále se zabývá samotnou metodou in vitro fertilizace a ostatními okolnostmi, které jsou s tímto procesem spojené - průběh samotné metody, rizika, financování a psychické zdraví páru. Obsahem praktické části bakalářské práce je vypracování ošetřovatelského procesu u pacientky před a po in vitro fertilizaci. Výsledkem bakalářské práce je stanovení ošetřovatelských diagnóz a jejich intervencí s následnou realizací a vyhodnocením.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the concept of the nursing process in a selected woman before and after in vitro fertilization. The nursing process involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Data were obtained at the clinical centre in Prague. Medical and nursing documentation was utilized to gather information, and afterwards the knowledge obtained was also supplemented by an interview with the client. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis is the creation of the nursing process, including the definition of nursing diagnoses and their interventions on the part of NANDA International, that help medical staff to prevent complications during the whole procedure of in vitro fertilization but also after it. The bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on assisted reproduction and the description of assisted reproduction methods. Moreover, it also deals with the in vitro fertilization method and other circumstances associated with this process - the course of the method itself, associated risks, financing and psychological impact on women. The core of the practical part of the bachelor's thesis is the elaboration of the nursing process in patients before and after in vitro fertilization. The outcome of the bachelor thesis is the determination of nursing diagnoses and their interventions with subsequent implementation and assessment.
