The needs and goals of clients attending lowthreshold facilities for children and the youth

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je teoreticko-průzkumná. Ve své průzkumné části se zaměřuje na zmapování pohledu sociálních pracovnic a pracovníků v sociálních službách nízkoprahových zařízeních pro děti a mládež na potřeby a cíle klientů, kteří navštěvují vybraná nízkoprahová zařízení pro děti a mládež. Teoretická část této práce se zabývá vymezením pojmu nízkoprahové zařízení pro děti a mládež, zároveň stručně charakterizuje profesi sociálního pracovníka a objasňuje terminologii související s nepříznivou životní situací klientů nízkoprahového zařízení pro děti a mládež. V průzkumné části bakalářské práce jsou prezentovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření. Sběr průzkumných dat probíhal anonymně. Respondenti byli sociální pracovníci a pracovníci v sociálních službách několika vybraných nízkoprahových zařízení pro děti a mládež. Cílem průzkumu bylo zjistit, s jakými potřebami a cíli pracují sociální pracovníci a pracovníci v sociálních službách s klienty navštěvující vybraná nízkoprahová zařízení pro děti a mládež.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is theoretically-empirical. In the empirical part, it focuses on mapping out the point of view of social workers working in low-threshold facilities for children and youth on requirements and goals of clients that visit the selected facilities. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on defining the term of a low-threshold facility for children and youth, at the same time it briefly characterizes the profession of a social worker and clears up the terminology related to an inconvenient life situation of clients of low-threshold facilities for children and youth. The results of surveys are presented in the research part of the thesisThe collection of research data progressed anonymously, and the participants were social workers and workers in social services of several selected low-threshold facilities for children and youth. The goal of the research was to find out what requirements and goals of clients visiting the selected low-threshold facilities for children and youth social workers and workers in social services are working with.
