Neoformalist analysis of the film Election
Abstract:
Téma mé bakalářské práce je analýza filmu Kdo s koho. Zaměřuji se v ní na systematickou výstavbu díla a také na dominantu spočívající ve střídání vyprávěcích hledisek a nedůvěryhodné narace pomocí voice-overů. Použiji k tomu nástroje neoformalistické analýzy a budu vycházet z odborných publikací Davida Bordwella a Kristin Thompsonové.
Abstract:
The topic of my bachelor's thesis is an analysis of the film Election. I focus on the systematic composition of the piece, and also the dominant feature which consists of alternating narration viewpoints and unreliable narration in voice-overs. I use the means of neo-formalist analysis and base my thesis on the academic publications of David Bordwell and Kristin Thompson.
