Numerical methods for finding roots of polynomials

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme numerickým metodám pro nalezení kořenů polynomu. Práce je rozdělena do 4 kapitol. V první kapitole připomínáme základní informace o polynomech, kořenech polynomu a Hornerovo schéma. Ve druhé kapitole se zaměřujeme na vymezení a počet kořenů polynomu. Ve třetí a čtvrté kapitole se zabýváme metodami pro nalezení reálných a komplexních kořenů polynomu. Jednotlivé metody jsou aplikovány na příkladech.

Abstract:

In this thesis we study numerical methods for finding roots of polynomials. This thesis is divided into the four chapters. In the first chapter we remain basic information about polynomials, roots of polynomials and Horner's scheme. In the second chapter we focus on demacration and number of roots of polynomials. In the third and fourth chapter we show numerical methods for finding real and complex roots of polynomials. All methods are applied on the correct examples.
